I didn't go to school today. I was just too tired from all the sneezing that kept me up all night last night. So with a whole day off till my Taekwondo which was seven in the evening, I thought I should do something beneficial for myself. AAAnd after downing a glass of water I plopped back into bed again.
I woke up again round 3.50 p.m, then thought about something; why not head on down to "Man Hua Chen" which was "comic city" in english and do some research to sharpen my manga skills? Then after 1 hour of loitering around the house basically doing nothing I finally went.
Man Hua Chen is the only comic library in the entire city of Kuching, and it being so near to my taekwondo gym it was actually good that I went around 5 p.m, cause it meant I could just walk over to my gym when the time hit 7. I spent some time studying CLAMP comics, in particular xxxholic and Tsubasa Chronicles. I noted that both stories were related and spent some time reading and sketching down some emotions and scenes for reference. At the end of it, I came to the realisation that the most recurring thing in all of CLAMP's works were their characters, which I found rather unusual. I made mental note to study more comics from different Artists to see if this was common.
Then the rest of the day seemed to just fly on by, till here now I'm blogging at 11 o'clock.
In short, the day was real boring.
